FILMCLUB and LOOP Barcelona organize a meeting between entities of the Film Industry that have implemented various actions related to the field of education. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss sustainable and scalable public development models. Producers, distributors and presenters as well as film schools and representatives in the field of educational innovation will present a wide panorama of experiences, difficulties and needs, as agents linked in the same cultural environment.
Ricard Almazán was born on April 23 in 1965 in the Sants neighborhood of Barcelona — when cinema was still cinema.
From a very young age he has been dedicated to production and programming of cinemas. He began by setting up cineclubs and outdoor cinema, and other events related to the cinema.
For 25 years he brought programming to the Verdi Cinemas in Barcelona and is currently directing the Texas Cinemas in Barcelona and the Albatexas Cinemas in Valencia.

Júlia Betrian is a pedagogue with a master’s degree in Visual Arts, investigating the relationship between the creation and education processes. She spent years involved in youth associations, festivals and various cultural initiatives. She is currently working on projects at the Jaume Bofill Foundation and remains linked to movements and people working in cultural activism, including a theater group in the neighborhood of Gràcia and the educational commission of the Zumzeig Cinecooperativa.

His parents founded the video club Video Instan in 1980. Therefore, Aurora had a closed relationship with movies. When she was 16 years old, she started working at Video Instant. Later, she wento to Law School, until she decided to return to Video Instan and dedicate herself fully to the company.
She is dedicated to preserve the physical format of videos, with an archive of 44.000 references. Her intention is to turn Video Insta into a cultural center, a meeting place to exhibite and to present Spanish and Catalan films and connect with the community.
