This talk will take place at the Sala Gaudí.
On the occasion of this talk, the artists will disclose their research, departing from the creative process behind The Rope (presented in LOOP fair by Ani Molnár Gallery, Budapest) and expanding to their practice at large.

As media artists and artistic researchers, Gusztáv Hámos and Katja Pratschke have been working together on the theory and practice of intermedial arts for 20 years. Therefore, their artistic practice includes video, film, photography, interactive and site-specific installations, walk-in 360° cinema spaces, as well as the curation of exhibitions, symposia, film series, workshops and publications.

As media artists and artistic researchers, Gusztáv Hámos and Katja Pratschke have been working together on the theory and practice of intermedial arts for 20 years. Therefore, their artistic practice includes video, film, photography, interactive and site-specific installations, walk-in 360° cinema spaces, as well as the curation of exhibitions, symposia, film series, workshops and publications. Gusztáv Hámos has been exhibited at documenta in Kassel, Venice Biennale, Ludwig Forum für Internationale Kunst Aachen, Ludwig Museum–Museum of Contemporary Art in Budapest. His works are included in the collections of MoMA New York, Centre Pompidou Paris, NBK Berlin, ZKM Karlsruhe, Art Collection NRW, Ludwig Museum–Museum of Contemporary Art Budapest, C3 Budapest, Saint Gervai SIV Genève. Katja Pratschke has received various awards and grants: German short film award, travel grant of the Hessische Kulturstiftung, Artist-in-Residence Istanbul, Venice, Dhaka and Kolkata.
