The portrait of Augusta Chávez, the famous rezandera of Chuao, a coastal city in Venezuela. The face of the rezandera appears fragmented in the bricks with which a house is to be built; as the wall is built, the face is also formed. The house was developed thanks to the national housing construction plan launched by the Venezuelan government in 2006 with the intention of modernising the most backward areas of the country.

Oscar Abraham Pabón es va llicenciar com a arquitecte a la Universitat de Táchira, UNET (2008), i va estudiar al Taller de Arte Contemporáneo de Caracas i a la Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten d’Amsterdam. Les seves obres han estat exposades al Museo de Arte Contemporáneo M.A.C. Quinta Normal de Santiago (Xile); a la XIV Bienal de Cuenca (Equador); al Museu del Barri de Nova York (EUA), i al Museo Amparo de Puebla (Mèxic), entre moltes altres institucions. Les seves obres formen part de col·leccions importants, entre les quals figuren: Voorlinden Museum, Wassenaar (Països Baixos); CIFO Collection, Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) i US Patricia Phelps de Cisneros Foundation (CPPC), de Nova York (EUA).

FuoriCampo was founded in 2011 in Siena. The gallery aims to promote an artistic programme by supporting the work of Italian and international artists with site-specific projects realised inside the space and outdoor projects. FuoriCampo’s activity, characterised by research with a focus on the young generation, is carried out through exhibitions, residencies, international fairs and publications. FuoriCampo opened a temporary space in Brussels in 2015, developing exchange projects with youngh italian and belgian artists. In May 2022, Fuoricampo inaugurated its new space in Siena.
