Lisa Long és una comissària especialitzada en art contemporani i time-based art. El seu enfocament curatorial és impulsat per l’artista i busca amplificar les pràctiques transdisciplinàries de tot el món que s’impliquen en formes d’investigació crítica i storytelling. Des de 2018 fins a 2025, Long va exercir com a Directora Artística i Comissària de la Julia Stoschek Foundation, una de les fundacions privades més grans del món dedicades al time-based art. Actualment Long actua com a fundadora i directora de Companion Culture, una agència curatorial que fomenta projectes a l’avantguarda de l’art contemporani, connectant empreses, fundacions, empresaris i mecènics amb artistes i institucions.

He begun working in cinema as a cinematographer, participating in more than 300 projects either feature films or documentaries. In 1993 he started working within the visual arts, and since then he has collaborated , developed, photographed and co-authorised, more than 90 works with artists of his generation. Francis Alÿs, João Penalva, Amalia Pica, Pablo Vargas Lugo, Abraham Cruzvillegas, Damian Ortega, Melanie Smith and Silvia Gruner amongst others.

His collaborative and co-authorised works have been exhibited at MoMA NY, Tate Modern, Tate Britain, Museo Tamayo, MUAC, MALBA, AGO, Canadá, Bienal de Porto Alegre (2007, 2011)(, Hamburger Bahnhoff (2018), Momenta Bienal Montreal (2019), Venice Biennale (49 in 2001, 54 in 2011, 56 in 2015, 58 in 2019, 59 in 2022).

He lives and works in London and México.
