Cultural manager and curator, interested in urban phenomena of intervention through networks and collective organization. Today he is also part of the ALT[av] – Alternative Audiovisual Network core management group. As a Cultural Manager, he directed a pre-edition of SCREEN São Paulo. He was also responsible for the curation and program direction at Matilha Cultural (São Paulo), an cultural center, focusing on cinema, visual arts and music (2008-2013). In 2001 he founded naOrelha.com.br, the first multimedia website about Brazilian music from the second millennium, for which he has been the CEO until 2007. Among his cultural and curatorial projects “Mapa de Publico” (2014), “Expressions From Revolution” (2011 and 2012), and “Zona de Poesia Árida” (2011) stand out.
Director of the Beep Electronic Art Collection and director of the New Art Foundation. He is also founder and director of LaAgencia, an independent new media art company created in 1998.

Director of Orquestra del Caos, Director of Festival Música13, organised by Nau Coclea, Camallera. Teacher and academic coordinator of the Sound Art Master Programme at Universitat de Barcelona, Sound Adviser for multimedia systems at GMMD-Universitat Oberta de Cataluña and teacher of Digital Sound at ESDI-Universitat Ramon Llull, he has also collaborated with other universities and art research institutions. Intermedia Artist, founder of Côclea together with Clara Garí, and also of the Orquestra del Caos, collaborator of the Institut International de Musique Electroacoustique de Bourges (Francia), he was the designer and first manager of the sound and music lab of the CIEJ of Fundació la Caixa de Pensions, as well as electroacoustic music teacher at the Conservatory of Bourges.

Well-known in the international art scene for his mechanotronic performances and robotic installations. The themes explored in his work include: the use of biological materials in robotics; telematic control on the part of a spectator of an alien body; the expansion of body movements with dresskeletons; involuntary choreography; and microbiological transformations. He is currently working on the spatial and utopian artwork TRANSPERMIA. He was also founding member of La Fura dels Baus.
Since 2010, Marcel•lí is working on what he call’s Arsenal Della Aparrazione and it’s include the three latest works from Antúnez; Cotrone (2010); El Peix Sebastiano and Pseudo (2012).
On 2014, Marcel•lí has opened up the exhibition Systematurgy. Actions, Devices and Drawings, on Arts Santa Mònica in Barcelona. It is focused on his method of creation the Systematurgy, a neologism which is literally a Dramaturgy based on computational systems. Antúnez has presented his work in numerous international venues and has received important awards and distinctions.

Vanina Hofman és professora en el Departament d’Història i Història de l’Art de la Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Catalunya), on també dirigeix l’Aula de Cinema i Arts Audiovisuals. Desenvolupa el seu treball en un territori híbrid entre la recerca acadèmica i la producció cultural. El seu camp d’interès són les interseccions entre Art, Ciència, Tecnologia i Societat. Està particularment interessada en els processos implicats en la construcció de la memòria en la cultura digital, l’arxiu de les arts mediàtiques, les històries de les arts no convencionals i les materialitats digitals. Recentment ha publicat el llibre “Divergent Practices of Mitjana Arts Preservation. Remembering and Forgetting in the Digital Culture”, basat en un treball de camp previ realitzat a l’Argentina. Forma part del Grup de Recerca interdisciplinària MIRMED-GIAC (URV, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona i Institut Català d’Arqueologia Clàssica).
