Galerie Barbara Thumm

Founded in 1997, Galerie Barbara Thumm has maintained a long-standing commitment to showcasing contemporary art and artists from around the globe. Its program features both emerging and established artists from Africa, Latin America, North America, and Europe. The gallery fosters innovative practices and provides a platform for artists who challenge traditional boundaries and explore new ideas.

Its exhibitions range from conceptual to figurative works and include a wide variety of media, such as painting, sculpture, video, installation, photography, and digital art. Galerie Barbara Thumm aims to engage both local and international audiences, promoting a deeper understanding and appreciation of contemporary art through collaborations with artists, curators, and institutions.

In addition to on-site exhibitions in Berlin, the gallery launched the digital platform New Viewings in 2020 and continues to actively participate in major international art fairs.
